Canon EOS-1D X DSLR Camera Goes on Sale in March, 2012
Canon is going to release a new flagship DSLR camera, called the Canon EOS-1D X. The Canon EOS-1D X is a professional designed DSLR camera, taking the best of the EOS-1D and EOS-1Ds cameras and melding them into a single unit, that gives both high resolution and high speed shooting. The high-end DSLR camera from Canon is a weatherproof device and especially targeting professional photographers. The camera has additional features like; 61-Point High Density Reticular AF, 14-bit A/D data conversion and 12fps continuous shooting at full resolution (in JPEG mode). It also features an 18-megapixel resolution, boasts a dual DIGIC 5+ processors and capable of recording Full HD videos. There’s also a new Multiple Exposure function, which captures up to nine shots and combines them into a composite image with the best elements of each, all in-camera.

Customer will find the Canon EOS-1D X digital SLR body, eyecup Eg (not shown), battery pack LP-E4N, battery charger LC-E4N, wide neck strap L7, cable protector, stereo AV cable AVC-DC400ST, USB interface cable IFC-200U, EOS digital solution disc, and software instruction manual inside the sale box.
There are also a pair of optional accessory dongles available; the Canon WFT-E6A Wireless File Transmitter that’s featuring WiFi b/g/n connection for wirelessly offloading new images, and the Canon GP-E1 GPS Receiver that adds latitude, longitude, elevation, UTC and camera direction information to each shot.
Canon EOS-1D X Price & Availability:
Reportedly, the Canon EOS-1D X digital-SLR camera will go on sale in March, 2012 and will carry a price tag of about $6,800. Well the Wireless File Transmitter will arrive at the same time at around $600, while the GPS Receiver will follow on sometime in April 2012 with a price tag of about $300.
