Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Tablet Get Official
The Taiwanese company, Asus has just officially introduced a latest Android powered tablet, called the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. The new Android tablet boasts an Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset and utilized a Zenbook-like aluminum casing with 8.3mm thick and weights 586 grams. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is claimed as the world’s first tablet to feature Project Kal-El, NVIDIA’s next-generation quad-core Tegra mobile chip. The Transformer Prime comes in two flavor choices such as; Amethyst Gray and Champagne Gold.

The upcoming Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime measures only 263 x 180.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs around 586grams. Asus is also offering a new dock for Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet, that will bring a keyboard, a touchpad, an USB 2.0 connector, and an SD card slot. This dock is also extending battery life up to 18 hours. The Dock measures just 263 x 180.8 x 8~10.4mm and 537grams.
Price & Availability:
Reportedly, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet will be arriving sometime in December 2011 for price tag of about $499 for 32GB model and $599 for 64GB version, while the dock will cost you around $149.
