HP Folio 13 – Company’s 1st Business Ultrabook

Hewlett-Packard has recently announced the release of its first business ultrabook device called the HP Folio 13. The HP Folio 13 brings a 13.3-inch HD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. This notebook has a thin and light design along with strong security options. This business ultrabook also feature a responsive solid state hard drive for the ultimate mobile experience.

Reportedly, the HP Folio 13 will be offered in two configurations; the first one with a 1.4GHz Intel Core i3 processor, and the next one is powered a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor with up to 2.3GHz in turbo boast mode. In addition, the HP Folio 13 ultrabook also comes built with 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD aand pre-installed with Windows 7 operating system.

Other features includes a backlit keyboard, memory card reader, Ethernet LAN, HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Further more, the ultrabook packs HP TrueVision HD webcam for brighter, cleaner HD images paired with Dolby advanced audio.

The HP Folio 13 also comes with an optional TPM embedded security chip, which protects data in email as well as information on the hard drive for security-conscious users. The HP Imagepad supports highly accurate, advanced multitouch gesture. It also has the HP CoolSense technology, that uses advanced hardware and intelligent software for a noticeably cooler notebook.

The HP Folio 13 is light weight and thin with just having less than 0.7 inches thick and about 1.5 kg weighs. According to manufacture, this ultrabook boasts with the longest-lasting battery in the class, which is enabling up to 9 hours of use.

Company has reported that, the HP Folio 13 ultrabook will be available on 7th December, 2011 at price of $899.99. The ultrabook also backed by a three-year limited warranty through an optional HP Care Pack.
