Dell Streak Pro D43 Smartphone will Release Soon in China
Dell has officially introduced its latest smartphone at a press conference in Beijing, the Dell Streak Pro D43. It’s a newest touchscreen smartphone for the Chinese market which is based on the Baidu-Yi platform and become the first Baidu-Yi mobile platform based smartphone. According to Dell, China is a key part of the company’s mobile strategy and the country has also grown to become the world’s largest smartphone market. So they are trying to cover a major area of this market. The new Dell Streak Pro D43 smartphone is based on Baidu-Yi mobile platform that satisfy the needs of Chinese customers. Baidu-Yi was especially developed by Baidu for domestic Chinese smartphones, built on top of Android but replacing many original Google software with its own network alternatives.
The new Dell Streak Pro D43 will bring a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display that delivers screen resolution of 950 x 540 (qHD) pixels resolution and has vaguely Nexus-esque chassis. For extra durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. In addition, this powerful smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor.
The Dell Streak Pro D43 supports 3G+ networks as well as full support for Baidu network of services. Furthermore this smartphone also features the Baidu Maps (like Google Maps), Baidu Yue e-book reader, Ting music, and of course, Baidu search.
Reportedly, the upcoming Dell Streak Pro D43 smartphone will be available soon in Chinese market through China Unicom but there is no word on price of this smartphone has revealed yet.
