Hey look! Sony Ericsson is preparing a high-end Android powered smartphone with a giant 13 megapixel camera for 2012. This high-end Android smartphone is called the Sony Ericsson Xperia LT28AT, whose specs have surfaced at Bluetooth (Special Interest Group) End Product Details. This top-end Android smartphone will be showcased at Consumer Electronics Show 2012 and will become available in United States through AT&T stores sometime in early 2012.

Previously leaked that, the Xperia LT28AT looks quite similar to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD (Nozomi). But, the Xperia LT28AT’s display size and the camera differ. Still it’s not clear, whether the smartphone would have HDMI port like the Nozomi or not. This high-end smartphone will bring a 4.55-inch touchscreen HD720p Sony Reality display that will deliver 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Most importantly, the smartphone packs a rear 13-megapixel back-illuminated rear facing camera with LED flash as well as a 720p front-facing camera for video calls. In addition, it also features dual microphones i.e. noise suppression and stereo recording.

Furthermore the Sony Ericsson Xperia LT28AT smartphone will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and run on Android platform i.e. probably Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. As per its connectivity options, there are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 2.1 EDR support, and much more enhanced connectivity functions. The smartphone is also capable to work in LTE, HSPA and TD-SCDMA mobile networks. Here are few sample images which are taken by this handset.
