Samsung to Show up DualView DV300F Point-and-Shoot Camera at CES 2012
Samsung will be showcased a point-and-shoot digital camera, the Samsung DualView DV300F at CES 2012 next week. This camera will have dual displays; one 1.5-inch front-panel 61k display, designed for self-capture and a 3-inch rear-panel 460k display for regular shots. It also features a 16 megapixels image sensor with 25mm wide-angle lens that delivers 5x optical zoom (4.5-22.5mm, f4.5 lens). It’s also capable of 720p HD video recording. Other specifications include; optical image stabilization, supports ISO up to 3200, Live Panorama, Smart Auto, Jump Shot 2.0, 3D photo, Split-Shot, Children Mode, Artistic Brush, and so on.
The DualView DV300F includes an interesting feature i.e. built-in Wi-Fi that can wirelessly transfer photos to a home PC and to cloud storage services such as Samsung Allshare Play and Microsoft SkyDrive. If you are an Android or iOS users then you can remotely frame shots, take photos, geotagging from the phone’s GPS as well as view videos from your camera by using Samsung’s free Remote Viewfinder app. Furthermore you can also share pictures to different social networks such as; Picasa, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, etc. There is also DLNA support along with preconfigured access to Boingo and Telmex. Well, if you don’t like to go through social networks right away then you can upload your files in the SD card to your PC with the Auto PC Backup tool.
The Samsung DualView DV300F will be coming in four flavors such as; black, silver, navy and red. Reportedly, the company is going to showcase the latest Samsung DualView DV300F pointand-shoot digital camera at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2012 later this month. The camera will cost you around $199 US and expected to ship sometime March this year.
