Samsung showcased a new Wi-Fi enabled long zoom range camera, the Samsung WB150F during CES 2012 event. It’s housed in a compact, light and durable body which is the perfect travel companion. This compact camera measures having dimensions of 4.19″ (W) x 2.35″ (H) x .92″ (1.26″) (D). It’s flavored with three colors such as; Black, White and Red. Well the Samsung WB150F WiFi enabled camera will be released in South Korea this week with a price of 295,000 won i.e about $263.
The new WB150F WiFi camera sports a 14-megapixel 1/2.3″ (approx. 7.76mm) CCD image sensor with an 18x optical zoom Schneider-KREUZNACH lens. It’s capable of 720p video recording with 30fps. This compact smart camera brings a 3-inch AMOLED display with VGA 640 x 480 pixels resolution and packs Dual IS including Optical + Digital Image Stabilization. Other features are including USB 2.0, NTSC, PAL (User selectable) video out, WiFi Direct, AllShare 2.2, Authentication browser, SNS upload, email, PC Auto Backup, Remote Viewfinder, and so on.
It comes with amazing wireless capabilities that enabling backup and uploads photos to Microsoft SkyDrive or Samsung AllShare Play cloud service automatically. It’s also allowing users to share photos from camera to social networking sites such as Picasa, Facebook, or even upload videos to YouTube. Furthermore the Samsung WB150F is built-in image editing capability and smart features including Split Shot function that able to split the display into three separate sections.
