LG Decided European and Asian Market for LG Optimus True HD LTE

LG has chosen European and Asian countries rather than the usual US market to introduce their flagship products. Yes, LG has decided to introduce their flagship Optimus lineup Android smartphone, the True HD LTE in few European and Asian markets including Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore. The LG Optimus True HD LTE has a model number of P936 and hardware-wise this smartphone leads a significant improvement (especially LTE addition) as comparing to other LG’s high-end smartphones like Optimus 2X and Optimus 3D Max.

The True HD LTE has a 4.5-inch True HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors supports. It offers screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (~ 326 ppi pixel density) with multitouch support. It also features sensors like; accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and digital compass. The Android v2.3.6 (Gingerbread) operating system will greet you when you power on your True HD LTE but hopefully it’s going to get an Ice Cream Sandwich update very soon. It’ll be powered by the Snapdragon chipset with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor speed. It’ll come built with a 4GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM but its memory can expandable up to 32GB via microSD and the phone will come included with a 16GB memory. It’s boasted by a Li-Ion 1830 mAh battery for power requirement.

It packs an 8 megapixels rear camera which can capture at 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution and features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection. The smartphone is also capable to record full HD videos at 1080p. In addition it has a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera to make video chat. It supports media formats such as; MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 for videos and MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ for audios. Other multimedia features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, TDMB TV tuner, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Photo viewer/editor, etc.

The smartphone also comes equipped with all most all the connectivity options starting from GPRS to 4G LTE. Its 2G network works on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, while HSDPA for 3G. It also has T-DMB connectivity. In short, the smartphone’s connectivity includes HSPA+, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, and a microUSB v2.0 port.

No doubt you’ll enjoy all the messaging features from SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, to Instant Massaging. It also features RSS, HTML browser, Adobe Flash, and all social networking services. It features GPS with A-GPS support and Java via Java MIDP emulator. Its general features includes Document viewer, voice memo/dial/commands, predictive text input (Swype), etc. It comes in only black option that measures 133.9 x 67.9 x 10.5 mm and weight about 135 grams.

There is no word about its price or when it’ll be release. But as expected the smartphone will be available through one or multiple carriers across the country, though T-Mobile, Vodafone and O2 are currently offering 4G services in Germany.
