A Quick Review on Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7C tablets
I think you would’ve not forgotten the craze of the original Ubislate and now Datawind has again decided to release a couple of successor of the tablet, called the Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7C. It’s said that they both are designed for consumer market and this time in an affordable package as well. No doubt they have found a lot of ways to improve its quality. So they have joined their hands with Aircel to provide better data package and they’re also offering 2GB GPRS data for Rs. 100/- a month. Datawind has also partnered with VMC systems, Yahoo India, The Indian Express Group, GetJar, InMobi, Poketalk. Even more you’ll be able to get a dozen of Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Punjabi, much more.
Both the tablets are coming with quite similar features except few differences. The only differences are; the UbiSlate 7C comes built with a 4GB of internal flash memory, while the UbiSlate 7+ will have only 2GB of memory and the UbiSlate 7c features an improved capacitive touchscreen display, while the UbiSlate 7+ has the previous resistive screen.
Both the tablets have 7-inches display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It’ll be running on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and powered by an improved 800MHz Cortex A8 processor. Their memory can be expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card and features a 256MB RAM. You can find a range of connectivity options as well including Wi-Fi, GPRS, USB 2.0 port. 3.5mm Audio jack, etc. Most importantly, both the tablets will have phone functionality, so that users can make or receive calls through their UbiSlate.
It has an improved battery of 3200mah, so the company claims to deliver up to 180 minutes of battery backup. According to the Datawind, the shipments have already started for customers who have pre-booked the UbiSlate 7+ and will also continue for the next few months till retail availability, while the UbiSlate 7C will be available by the end of May. What I guessed, the UbiSlate 7+ is only the improved version of the original tablet, while the UbiSlate 7C is an improved capacitive model. If you’re asking for its price then the Ubislate 7+ will cost you only Rs. 2,999/- and the Ubislate 7C is priced at Rs. 3,999/-.
It’s so affordable that we should skip its disadvantages and let’s discuss some advantages of these two tablets. Here we’re pointing some reasons why someone should go for the Ubislate.
Why I should go for the improved version of Ubislate 7?
1- As affordable as previous!
2- Comes with lot of improvements!
3- A powerful processor!
4- A powerful batter!
5- Improved capacitive screen replaces that worst screen of the original tablet!
6- Phone functionality!
There are many more reasons to choose these tablets and I need few reasons from you. If you’re not agreeing with our points then you’ve all the right to say. But it’ll be unfair if you won’t give the reason of your disagree.
