Lenovo’s 1st Intel inside Phone “LePhone K800″ Launched in China
Another Intel Medfield powered smartphone has arrived market but this time from Lenovo, called the LePhone K800 and will hit China stores soon. The smartphone was first leaked at CES 2012 earlier this year, where it supposed to be the first Intel inside smartphone, but Lava Xolo X900 was did so, which was announced later at MWC. Still Lenovo would be happy because, it’s the company’s first Intel Inside smartphone. It’s not as much as thick what we expect from a top-end smartphone, it’s having 10.95mm thick and 161g weighs.
It’s powered by a high-performance Intel Atom processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz and boasts a 400MHz graphics. It’s also paired with the Intel Hyper Threading technology that ensures advanced multitasking capability. The Intel 32nm Atom chip enables competitive low power to offer you a long period of conversation and entertainment.
The Intel based smartphone has a large 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT LCD touchscreen display and features a unique wireless display technology as well that let you extend videos and images from your smartphone onto a bigger TV screen for a true home theatre experience. It’s an Android smartphone, which runs on v2.3.7 OS (Gingerbread) with LeOS Skin on top. The smartphone also comes built with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
It has an 8 megapixels rear camera that capable of recording 1080p HD videos with Dual LED flash. In addition the phone also has a secondary camera of 1.3 megapixels allowing you to make video chat. You’ll also have FM Radio facility with 3.5mm audio jack, USB OTG, and MHL support. It’s based on the Intel XMM 6260 platform that supports for HSPA+ 21Mbs network.
