Introducing Apple’s best ever MacBook Pro with Retina Display

All the rumors are comes to an end, because the next generation MacBook Pro is live now with a Retina Display. Apple has showed off its next generation MacBook Pro on Monday with Retina display at WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2012 in San Francisco. There was a quote from “Tim Cook” which maters a lot for Apple fans. He said that “This MacBook Pro is the most beautiful computer we’ve ever made”. So here we have the best ever MacBook Pro computers.

Is its display the main feature?

The new MacBook Pro has brought nice improvements on its display especially. It has a 15.4-inches wide display screen and the best Retina Display technology makes it the world’s highest resolution notebook display. It delivers an industry-best 2800 x 1800-pixel resolution or 220 pixels per inch and most interestingly, the new display reduced the glare by 75%. Surprise to know that, the new screen has more than 5 million pixels, 3 million more than an HDTV. The display uses the IPS technology that offers wide 178-degree view of everything from any angle. Even more the display paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor that delivers up to 60 percent faster graphics performance than any Apple’s laptops.

What more in Retina Display?

Apple showed several apps and games which had been optimized for the new MacBook Pro to prove the Retina display’s graphics capabilities. Among the programs shown during Worldwide Developers Conference keynote were Blizzard’s Diablo III RPG, Autodesk’s newest version of AutoCAD, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop. It’s also confirmed that, the Mac OS has been updated for the next generation MacBook Pro display, including iMovie, iPhoto, Mail, Safari, and Final Cut Pro. They again confirmed that, they are working with multiple developers to update their applications for the new member.

How powerful is it?

The new MacBook Pro will be powered by either a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz, or 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, which can be configurable to 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz. The notebook comes built with 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory, which can be expandable up to 16GB of memory. It features up to 768GB of flash storage and the flash storage ensures to deliver data up to 10x faster than any hard drives.

What are its connectivity options & others?

As per connectivity option, the new MacBook Pro comes equipped with an SD slot, HDMI, two Thunderbolt ports, one FireWire 800 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, and features both USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 ports on each side. It’ll also have 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. In addition, it will have a backlit keyboard with glass trackpad and features a 720p FaceTime HD camera with dual microphones and stereo speakers.

The new member isn’t as thin as the MacBook Air but it has just 0.7 inches thin and will weigh less than 4.5 pounds. The new MacBook Pro claims to offer a better battery backup of 7 hours with up to 30 days of standby time. The new entry-level MacBook Pro will cost around $2,199 with 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage, but it rises to $2799 when you’re configuring with a 2.6GHz quad-core processor and 512GB flash storage.
