ZTE plans to release a range of devices at expo, so they made official one of them called the ZTE Grand Era U985. It’s a Quad Core Android smartphone, which is going to reach Chinese market in a very recent future. ZTE seems unstoppable with their slimmest smartphone releasing. The company claims that, this upcoming device will be the slimmest quad-core smartphone in the current market, which is closely not accurate. The smartphone has an average thickness of 8.6mm all around its body with the 7.9mm thickness at its slimmest segment. Actually the LG Optimus G should proud of its thickness, which has an all-round thickness of just 8.45 mm.
Well, keep the slimmest matter out of this paragraph. Under the hood you’ll find a PC like processor from NVIDIA i.e. powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The smartphone brings a large 4.5-inch HD display with 1,280 x 720 pixels screen resolution. The display also features 3D acceleration capacity and runs on the Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, while the latest Jelly Bean is always ready for a Quad Core smartphone. It has an as usual 8 MP BSI AF HD camera with LED flash on the rear. As it’s for Chinese, so it’ll work on the local TD-SCDMA networks.
This quad core smartphone “Grand Era U985” will be arriving in China by the next few days. As we said, ZTE also plans to release a range of cutting-edge products including smartphones, tablet PCs, high-speed data cards and chips. During the expo, the company will also confirm few other powerful quad-core smartphone models including Grand Era V985 and Grand Era LTE, however it’ll disclose a couple of dual-core devices as well such as; the Grand V970 and Grand U930. So, hope all will well for ZTE at expo.
